The Pitcairn Islands (Pitkern: Pitkern Ailen), often informally called the Pitcairns, are an insular colony of Great Britain, located in Oceania and more precisely in eastern Polynesia, to the east of French Polynesia and to the west of Easter Island. The archipelago consists of four islands, of which the largest and most populated is called Pitcairn. The islands have been settled by the mutineers of a British ship, the HMS Bounty, which came upon Pitcairn in the late 18th century: the archipelago is still inhabited by their descendants.

The Pitcairns are a remote and mostly rural archipelago: the most important economic activities are fishing and agriculture. Apiculture is also a sector of note: honey produced in the Pitcairns is among the best in the world. Apart from English, Pitkern, a creole language based on 18th century English and Tahitian is also spoken and has official status.
