Pepsi Cola was a major competitor to Coca Cola all over the world. With its "secret formula" Coca Cola ran into a problem when its formula was presumably lost on Doomsday. Foreign bottlers of Pepsi products moved quickly to become a leader in the carbonated beverage industry, eventually being re-introduced to the developing nations that arose from the ashes of World War III. The surviving bottlers of South America manage to reunite under the leadership of the the Pepsi Co subsidiary in Peru. Most of the surviving facilities located in Europe and Asia were either abandoned or were acquired by local cola companies while Pepsi Co regrouped in South America. Now Pepsi's greatest global rival is Royal Crown, given that it is headquartered in the ANZC. Ironically Pepsi's former foe Coca Cola was cursed with a smaller market as Kola Grande.
