Peace of Basel (Chaos)

The Peace of Basel was made in 1784 to end the second French Republican War.

[edit] Conditions

Spain
- South Aragon (Valencia) was ceded to France
- Portugal became an independent republic

The HRE was dissolved.
- Hesse became the Chattic Republic
- Franconia became the Naristic Republic
- Thuringia-Meissen (OTL Thuringia and Saxony) became the Hermunduric Republic
- Württemberg became a part of the Swiss Republic, which was another French satellite at this time.

Sweden-Norway-Netherlands
- The remaining Netherlands became part of France itself
- Sweden also had to cede Mecklenburg to the duke of Pomerania

Hungary had to cede Bohemia and the lands of the Slovaks, which became the Moravian Republic

The losses of Sweden-Norway caused even king Johan II of Sweden to doubt the cause of the Royalists.
