Paul Davis Ryan (born January 29, 1970) is the 48th Vice President of the United States. He also served as a US Representative from Wisconsin from 1999 to 2013. He was chosen as Mitt Romney's running mate in the 2012 election. The two successfully defeated Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Romney and Ryan were re-elected in 2016, defeating the ticket of Hillary Clinton and Mark Warner. Vice President Ryan has already formed an exploration comittee for a potential presidential run in 2020.
