Pacifica (abbreviated PC) is a state in the western United States. The state's mainland is very mountainous and populated mainly only in its numerous river valleys. The state also includes Vancouver Island, which has a densely populated southern tip and sparse population along its eastern coast. The state has a population of about 4,150,000, almost half of which lives in the Quad-Cities Metro area, and about a fourth of the state's population lives on Vancouver Island.
The state is bounded on the north by the 51st parallel and the nation of Alaska. On the east, the border with the state of Montana is formed by the Duncan River, Kootenay Lake, and the Kootenay River. On the south, the state forms a border with Washington at the 49th parallel. On the west is the Pacific Ocean.
Pacifica is a mountainous state
