Osnoth II, Duke of Saxony (Full name: Osnoth Friso Botho Pitter van Kronborg; born 9 June 1940) is the current King of Frisia, King of Barbados, King of Tonga and Kiribati, King of East Iceland, Prince of Saxe-Meiningen and also King of the United Leeward States. A member of the Kronborg family, he was the second son of King Pitter IV and his first wife, Margot Botha, Princess of Saxe-Meiningen. His maternal grandfather is Karl of Saxony.

Osnoth has a congenital disorder called sacral agenesis which prevented fetal development of certain parts of his lower spine and all of his sacrum, making him wheelchair-bound. He became heir apparent upon birth and has reigned through the the Frisian invasion of Iceland, the Battle for Taiwan, 1994 Summer Olympic Games in Rotterdam and the War in Tibet with his heir apparent as Habel, Prince of Kronborg, his eldest son.

Early life[]

Intended for the church, he received a good education but his prospects were changed by the death of his elder brother Abich I on 9 July 1954 in a helicopter accident, when he became his father's heir apparent. This left his younger sister Edeline, Princess of Iceland to take up religion-oriented education. Osnoth was short and sickly as a child, wheelchair-bound by his sacral agenesis.
