The Orange Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game hosted every year at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. As an Elite Series bowl game, it is regarded as one of the premier sporting events of the American football calendar year, hosted in early January (typically January 1st) featuring two highly-ranked teams from the previous fall. Since the 1950's, the Orange Bowl has had an agreement with the champion of the Atlantic Conference, making the Atlantic champion the annual home team and host of the Orange Bowl.
