You and your friend move to America, where the small band of you settle down in Casper, Wyoming, and pretend to be lifelong Americans. You take on new names: Henry Roberts yourself, and your friends John, Jack, Alan, Fred, Richard, and Frank. As you grow old, Europe is plagued by war forever, while America and Japan jostle for power in a Cold War. Thanks to you, Germany, Poland, the USSR, and most of Eastern Europe fell apart forever. Britain and France attempted to be the peacemakers but were too self-conceited to accomplish their goals. America and Japan, yes, they fight for power, but your efforts render America the winner in the end. You die in 1987, still guilty over what you caused.
