November[]

Week 1[]

Hungary: Hungary continues once again to recruit troops. We announce that we will be reforming the Austro-Hungarian Empire next week, with the majority voting positively for it.

Australia: We continue to improve infrastructure. The troops still gain recruitment to the military. We help rebuilding Sydney by sending workers and more structures to rebuild it again since Japanese war. We figure out that the Japanese expansion could be likely more trouble for Allies, but it looks like it's done already and it's no threat again.

Poland: After a military coup lead by General Wladyslaw Anders supported by the Polish majority against the Republic to re-establish the Polish Monarchy. Wladyslaw Anders is declared the King Wladyslaw Ander of Poland. Poland also offers Lithuania a chance to reform the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and have the same strength and European unity that it had in the 1700s. The deal to join a Polish commonwealth is extended to other Baltic States if they so wished. Propaganda begins being passed around Poland and into the Baltic states about the benefits of the Commonwealth. King Anders agrees to the terms of the Treaty of Rome and will enforce it.

  • Lithuania: The Lithuanian Government does not currently agree to reform the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. However, they are very seriously considering it, especially so due to recent developments, and the Lithuanian people seem to be mostly in favor of it, with the Polish-Lithuanian Nationalists doing what they can to convince the government to agree to it.
  • Latvia: The Latvian Government does not yet agree to join Poland. However, they are debating it as quickly as they can, and they seem to be in favor of it, if only for their own protection.
  • Estonia: The Estonian Government is acting similarly to the government of Latvia, especially since both countries have good relations with Poland.

Scandinavia: Following the events of October, the Scandinavian military currently employs about 2.5 million soldiers, military buildup and recruitment are continuing well, the latter being due to the continued high nationalism among the population, infrastructure has been completed everywhere except in Finland, which will finish next week, and the construction of the new Titan-class ship is proceeding on schedule. Scandinavia supports Poland's attempt to reform Poland-Lithuania, and suggest to Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia that they should agree to it, if only for their own protection. Scandinavia also offers Protectorate treaties to Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, and offers Poland an alliance, with the included treaties currently being: Defensive and Offensive Pacts, Criminal Extradition Agreements, Joint Military Access, Naval Basing Rights and Access Through Airspace.

Bulgaria: In one week, around 5000 troops (including 20 operational tanks) had been identified, but they were far from the end of it. Around 10 artillery pieces and hundreds of shells had been created, and production shifted to aircraft, but artillery pieces continued to be produced in smaller numbers. Retraining of troops to fit a larger army begins, with new troops sent to camps to be trained by old military officials. Trade continues with countries that have agreed to trade.

Japan: We drastically reform our military focusing on weaponry, propaganda and high morale for our troops. Large areas in Japan are industrialized causing industry to rise by 56.34%. The ROCA are fighting harder then ever and many troops have lost their lives so we begin to build tanks, armored cars, aircraft and massive German-Style ships. We launch an invasion of Indonesia sending 560,900 troops mostly from Australia, UK and Thailand to conquer the island. The Trans-Manchurian railway, Korea railway and the Trans-Japanese railway begin to be constructed. Seeing the fall of the Axis coming soon, we send Scandinava, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Ireland, Morocco, Australia, UK, and India to join a new faction.

  • Hungary: Hungary tells Japan they are interested in joining the new alliance. We do, however, want more information on the alliance, and request that Poland can be allowed to join as well.
  • Scandinavia: Scandinavia shares Hungary's sentiment, they are interested in joining the new alliance, but wish that Poland be extended the same invitation
Week 2[]

Austria-Hungary: We officially reform the Austro-Hungarian Empire. We continue on a massive recruitment drive with the formation of Austro-Hungary, many more soldiers are recruited on a shorter rate, reaching 600,000 troops. We request from the Axis, as well as any other nation willing, to recognize us as the Austro-Hungarian empire, no longer as Hungary.

  • Bulgaria: Bulgaria agrees to recognize Austria-Hungary.

Kingdom of Poland: Propaganda is spread throughout the Baltic states about the benefits of reforming what would be renamed to the Baltic Commonwealth. Additionally the army is called back to Poland and participation for all able bodied men in the reserves is enforced. All members of the standing army that returns is given a month on leave. Additionally, due to Poland's trade and industrial output the Zloty begins to pull ahead of other Baltic currencies. Poland recognises the Austro-Hungarian Empire and declares its offers to the Baltic's remain open.

  • Lithuania: Lithuania agrees to reunite with Poland, and encourages Latvia and Estonia to do the same.
  • Latvia: The Latvian Government is still debating the issue of joining Poland, but they appear to be in favor of it.
  • Estonia: The Estonian Government is acting similarly to its Latvian counterpart, and they will most likely join if Latvia does.

Scandinavia: Following the events of Week One, the Scandinavian military currently employs about 2.6 million soldiers, infrastructure has been completed across the country, the construction of the new Titan-class ship is proceeding on schedule, and will likely be finished sometime in the first quarter of next year, and One Scandinavian Krona is approximately equivalent to 1 USD. Scandinavia recognizes the newly resurrected Austria-Hungary, and due to their not doing so as of yet, requests that other countries recognize them as Scandinavia, rather than Sweden, as Sweden is only part of the country, and they note that many previously dead nations are returning, the Kalmar Union, Austro-Hungarian Empire and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth may be just the beginning. Scandinavia also requests that Poland send them a response soon, but takes the lack of response from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia as their declining the offered treaties, and the Scandinavian military under the command of Supreme Commander Olof Thörnell has begun deploying troops, primarily ships, around the coastlines of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

  • Bulgaria: We agree to formally recognize Scandinavia, even though we had informally recognized it previously.

Australia: We employ more soldiers to our army. Also, seeing Japan asking Australia to join Axis could be allegedly be in hold, so we wait if UK replies anything by setting them deadline on Week 4 to ask UK if they can join Axis or stay with Allies.

Bulgaria: Troop count continues to increase, with a total of 10,000 (including 35 operational tanks, 15 operational artillery pieces, and 15 each of fighters and bombers) and counting. Simeon the Second is finally declared Tsar after two weeks of the provisional military government's power. He is still a minor, so his power is mostly as a figurehead, but this is a job he does marvelously. Construction of large industrial complexes in major cities begins, with a projected increase in industry of 20% to be completed by the end of the month, and at least 60% by the end of the year. Recruitment begins for pilots for the air force, with an initial turnout of about 150 potential candidates. Production is shifted even further to aircraft to make up for the numbers. The number of planes needed to carry all of them, including training aircraft, might take as long as two months to be produced.

Japan: We recognise Austria-Hungary as a state and send diplomats there to ease the relations since the Australian war. We send a request to Poland-Lithuania to join the new alliance and ask them to engage in trade, diplomacy and military support with us. We continue to increase industry and employ 650,000 men, mainly from the UK, Australia, Bulgaria, Austria-Hungary, Korean and Japanese backgrounds. Our army now has 1.324 million men. We continue our invasion of Indonesia and will capture it in January.

Germany: The Germans continue sending propaganda into Switzerland. The Germans recognize Austria-Hungary as an official nation. The rocketry in Gemran continues to develop better rockets for sub orbital movement, and attempt to get their first rocket above the atmosphere, but that rocket does not make it into the air before it explodes.

  • Switzerland: The Swiss are very slowly becoming in favor of joining Germany, but if nothing unexpected occurs, they may ask to join Germany within a year.
Week 3[]

Austria-Hungary: We thank the several nations that recognize us as Austria-Hungary. Furthermore we continue to recruit forces for the army. We draw up a new draft for the treaty of Rome, which will go undisclosed until the borders are officially changed.

Japan: Our newly-reformed army consists of 1.355 million troops,340 Cavalry units, 100,000 machine guns, 70 armored cars, 52 TOK-174, 56 Samaria Dragon-style ships, 12,000 bombs of Kiragusu gas and 900 planes of all styles. We invite all the members invited to our proposed new alliance to a congress in Seoul. Our population now reaches 69.4567 million people and Tokyo becomes quite densely populated. Industry continues to rise by 63.456%. We reform our currency - the Japanese Yen is now worth two British pounds. Emperor Hirohito is almost assassinated in Pyamong. This causes an uproar in the Imperial Office, which has hanged the attempted assassin. Investigation shows he might be Russian. Violence escalates in China and over 3,234,567 men have died during the brutal war. The first British cafe opens in Nagasaki. Our ambassador in Austria-Hungary tries to open trade relations with the state.

Bulgaria: The army has reached 15,000 (including 40 operational tanks, 20 operational artillery, and 50 each of fighters and bombers), but the numbers are beginning to taper off. Numbers are predicted to reach 20,000 but there is little certainty to this number. The government begins sponsoring economic development in the country. Industry continues production, as do large numbers of aircraft.

Australia: The army recruits more troops into the Australian army. We develop more M3 Stuart tanks. Also, some navy ships as well and some air fighters, artillery. We hope to reach at least 750,000 soldiers in total. We improve infrastructure to build some buildings and some roads in our nation. So its economy invested until further notice.

Germany: Germany continues to send propaganda into Switzerland. Germany begins constructing the Titan class ship in Germany. The Germans continue their rocketry program to get sub-orbital, the second rocket to attempt to get orbital crashes into the sea off the coast of Faro. The Germans secretly send propaganda into the Scotland asking them to vote to become independent.

  • Switzerland: The Swiss Nazi Party this week managed to exonerate itself of earlier crimes they were believed responsible for, making the Swiss people slightly quicker to become convinced to join Germany, but it still some time off.
  • Scotland: The Scottish people are becoming steadily, yet not particularly quickly, convinced that they should hold a vote to determine whether or not they should stay a member of the United Kingdom.

Scandinavia: Following the events of Week Two, the Scandinavian military currently employs about 2.7 million soldiers, the construction of the Titan-Class Ship is proceeding on schedule, the Scandinavian military has secretly constructed three more Ulaf guns, and Scandinavia has attacked Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, occupying their capitals, which were all coastal, as well as most of their lands, within the week, due to their very small armed forces. Scandinavia warns other countries not get involved in their fighting in Africa.

Week 4[]

Austria-Hungary: By now we have 700,000 troops employed and we're still recruiting. We resume the construction of several of our new tanks, including the 104M Krév.

Japan: While we do not approve of Scandinavia's actions, the Imperial Office refuses to send aid to Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. We invade Nanking, Beijing and Shanghai via the occupied ports. Generals are ordered to massacre the Chinese in these cities because of their sponsorship of the ROCA. Due to this, China is fighting more fiercely then ever and many Japanese forces are killed. We invade Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia, our invasions are going well despite the fact that these nations have promised never to surrender. San Francisco's ports are attacked by our submarines. This is Phase One of our new plan to invade the USA.

USA: We pull back all troops and ships stationed in the Pacific to the west coast, pincering the Japanese forces stationed there. We build coastal guns on the west coast and AA's in major cities. As well as this, we question the Japanese motives for the attacks on the USA. We request help from any other nations willing to help against Japan's aggression, and finally, we accept trade with Bulgaria. (Sorry to keep you waiting.)

  • Bulgaria OOC: If it makes you feel any better, I had forgotten about that.

The Congress of Seoul will take place in the first week of December. All invited nations please be there.

Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: Publication of propaganda in the Baltic states continues. Poland declares itself the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and asks nations to recognise it as such. Reserve army training begins and is aimed to be completed by Christmas. Forces from the Slovenian Front return and King Wladysalw gives a speech. Poland finally agrees to the requests sent to it by Scandinavia.

  • Bulgaria: Bulgaria agrees to recognize Poland-Lithuania.

Bulgaria: The last of the army is assessed, with a final total of 20,000 soldiers, including 40 tanks, 25 artillery pieces, and 75 each of fighters and bombers, having finally reached enough planes to fit all the pilot recruits. Production of aircraft begins to taper off, with production instead focusing on firearms and ammunition. The government continues its promotion of industry and economic development. Trade is offered to the new countries of Austria-Hungary, Scandinavia and Poland-Lithuania.

Germany: Germany continues to send propaganda into Switzerland. The Germans continue to secretly send propaganda into the Scotland. The Germans continue their rocketry program and produce a 2nd rocket the 'Eule' which is a two stage missile in a similar design as the 'Adler'.

Switzerland: The Swiss people are slowly but surely becoming more accepting of the idea of joining Germany, though it is still several months before they likely shall do so.

Scotland: The Scottish people are very seriously considering having a vote to leave the United Kingdom, though it is not certain whether or not they will do so soon.

Scandinavia: Following the events of Week Three, the Scandinavian military currently employs about 2.8 million soldiers, the construction of the Titan-Class Ship is going well, the Scandinavian military now uses underwater mines and basic missiles, with more advanced missiles in development, the first Scandinavian Jets will be tested just after Christmas, and Scandinavia finds Japan's disapproval irrelevant. Scandinavia has occupied the entirety of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, and is discussing terms with them. Scandinavia also recognizes the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Australia: We continue to improve military and economy extending it. Due to the attack of Japan to USA we decide to help USA by sending our troops about 500,000 troops, also sending airplanes with soldiers to fall down with their parachutes down and destroyer ships. Meanwhile, after we experienced war with Japan, it is unlikely to be a war. But we don't want to ruin USA's relations and we decide to help them.

December[]

Week 1[]

Austria-Hungary: We tell Japan we shall be present at the congress. In the meantime we continue to improve the military, recruiting forces, as well as constructing new vehicles. We also offer to be a liaison between Germany and the USA.

  • USA: We agree.

Australia: We develop airplanes, tanks and some armoured army vehicles, more soldiers join the army to ensure they can go defend USA to their boats. Meanwhile, Sydney could be rebuilt and people can live. Economy keeps good in memory. We hope to reach more soldiers than about 450,000.

Japan: The Congress of Seoul has begun. Emperor Hirohito personally visits Seoul for the congress. The invited nations are: Bulgaria, Austria-Hungary, Germany, UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Poland-Lithuania. We are enraged at Australia and send an army of 500,700 men to attack Perth via Northern Australia thus re-igniting the Australia war. We use the Imperial Navy to attack the U.S. Fleet in the Coral Sea. 89% of Indonesia is under our control. Vietnam is on the verge of surrendering as we advance.

  • Poland-Lithuania: A Polish-Lithuanian ambassador is sent to Seoul.

USA: The fleet engage the Japanese at sea, with more reinforcements on the way. Fighters based on Hawaii are able to support the Pacific fleet, meanwhile, Bombers on Hawaii and the various aircraft carriers in the Pacific are able to bomb the Japanese. The US president asks Emperor Hirohito to start peace talks with the USA.

Bulgaria: Bulgaria sends a diplomat to attend the congress. Seeing that the war industries are not vital, and that troops have sufficient equipment to defend the country until they can be restarted, war industries are partially transferred to civilian industries. The rest go into the construction of a new submarine navy, and civilian industries are requested for the construction of a trade fleet.

Scandinavia: Following the events of November, the Scandinavian military currently employs about 2.9 million soldiers, the construction of the Titan-Class Ship is expected to be completed in February or March next year, more advanced missiles will be ready for testing in a month, and Scandinavia has sent an ambassador to the Congress of Seoul. Scandinavia has continued peace talks with Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, and it has been proposed that they allow Scandinavia to make use of their bases, especially around the Straits of Gibraltar, and that Scandinavia will have military access, fleet basing rights and access through airspace throughout the three countries. An end date for these treaties is currently indefinite and it is unclear whether or not it will stay that way.

Germany: Germany continues to send propaganda into Switzerland. The Germans continue to secretly send propaganda into Scotland. The Germans agree to the Austria-Hungarian offer to be a liaison to the Americans.

  • Switzerland: The Swiss people are slowly, yet noticeably, beginning to like the idea of joining Germany, and may request to do so in about six months, if nothing unexpected occurs.
  • Scotland: The Scottish people may hold a vote to decide whether or not they should secede from the United Kingdom in approximately seven months, unless something stops them, or they decide to hold it sooner.

Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: Trade and general production continues as December starts. Thanks to a good summer harvest there is plenty of food to go around. The Polish economy continues to slowly improve and the Zloty is made the official currency of Lithuania. Poland continues to send propaganda into Latvia and Estonia. Following King Wladyslaw I's signing of the Treaty of Rome he awaits the Italian response impatiently. In the meantime, 2.56 million Zlotys are given to Austria-Hungary as a thanks for the part they played in the war.

  • Latvia: The Latvians finally accept joining the newly-reformed Poland-Lithuania, and encourage Estonia to follow suit.
  • Estonia: The Estonians, soon after the Latvians, agree to join Poland-Lithuania.

Japan OOC: Will anybody be editing the Congress of Seoul Page?

Week 2[]

Austria-Hungary: Honored, we accept the position of liaison between Germany and the United States, seeking to keep peace between both faction leaders. We also accept Poland-Lithuania's generous gift of money. We continue to recruit forces and develop tanks.

Australia: We tell all our allies to defend the cities. Commander says right now Australian troops should not protect Perth, but defend Sydney as they didn't really listen to our priority. If Sydney is captured, this will mean our one last battle before Australia goes faded, the troops will retreat to Melbourne. More tanks and planes will be used. We regret that US has to come help us by fending off Japan, unless Australia will no longer have soldiers and will lose many opportunities to stay.

Germany: Germany continues to send propaganda into Switzerland. The Germans continue to secretly send propaganda into Scotland. The Germans construct railroad artillery cannons and continue construction of the Titan Class Ship.

  • Switzerland: The Swiss Nazi Party is regaining some of its former strength and support, and the Swiss people continue to slowly but noticeably become more in favor of the idea of joining Germany.
  • Scotland: The Scottish people are responding more noticeably than the Swiss, and they will likely hold a vote to stay in or leave the United Kingdom in about four months.

Bulgaria: Having finally counted all of the troops we had had and not known about, they begin training as a coordinated army. The trade fleet and submarine navy continue being produced, with significant progress on a cargo ship and a submarine nearing completion. The government continues investing in the economy and industry.

Week 3[]

Australia: We defend the city by attacking Japan and sending many troops, tanks and artillery. We think it's not our fault by defending, because we want to stay with the USA and not ruin their relationship. This could cause a big intervention between us. We call USA once again to help this madness against Japan otherwise we will lose our soldiers many.

Baltic Commonwealth: King Wladyslaw I declares the creation of the Baltic Commonwealth and allows any willing nation to request to join. Training of the reserve army ends and the forces are sent back to there everyday lives and to enjoy Christmas. All records on the exact number trained are kept heavily secret. The Baltic Commonwealth starts drifting away from Comintern. Reluctantly 100,000 soldiers are called back to duty in case the Treaty of Rome needs to be enforced. The 100,000 is however allowed to have their families in the barracks for Christmas.

Austria-Hungary: We urge Japan to cease fire, stating that otherwise we will not even consider to join Japan's new alliance. Furthermore we continue on to recruit forces, with the newest number being over 800,000. As a million nears, we continue to furthermore develop war vehicles.

  • Scandinavia: Scandinavia agrees with and support Austria-Hungary, urging Japan to end their war immediately.
  • Baltic Commonwealth: The Baltic Commonwealth supports the request to Japan.

Scandinavia: Following the events of Week Two, the Scandinavian military currently employs about three million soldiers, the construction of the Titan-Class Ship is proceeding on schedule, and the more advanced Scandinavian missiles will be tested next week, as development proceeded faster than expected. Peace talks with Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia continue, with very little change in the treaties proposed since before.

Bulgaria: The first of Bulgaria's submarines is completed, but not deployed yet because there is no reason to deploy it. Production begins on a second. The cargo ship in production also shows significant progress. The government continues its investment in industry and other areas of the economy, with promising results. Troops continue their training. Bulgaria sends an ambassador to Seoul. We hope he doesn't arrive too late. (Unless we already have one there.)

USA: The US navy begins its counterattack, with decisive bombings on Japanese ships, and successful naval engagements, pushing them back to Midway. The US president still wishes for peace with the Japanese, asking for a peace treaty or at the very least, a ceasefire.

Week 4[]

Austria-Hungary: We continue recruiting forces and improving the military as the number counts nearly to a million. We make preparations for a potential invasion.

Australia: Commander Thomas Blamey, reports Japan is really enraged at us due to our defending US. He sends an mount of troops to keep defending Sydney fending off Japan's. The Australian war meanwhile is reconsidering to begin yet again. Tanks, ships and planes are on their way to Sydney unless Perth is unprotected. Commander sets a maximum defense of Japan. Also if Japan disagrees to a ceasefire, this could mean Austria-Hungary, US and other allies will help us defending Australia. We ask Japan one more time for a peace and a ceasefire.

Bulgaria: Troops in training continue training. Investment in industry and the economy continue. The government is considering installing a pool table in the meeting room.
