Nineveh was a nation in Asia.
History
Founding
In 530 BC,the Babylonian nobles killed Amel-Marduk.They then proceeded to divide Mesopotamia amongst themselves.Out of this,King Amel (Royal Name) gained Nineveh.The King then proceeded to sign an alliance with Ashur.
Fall
With Babylon divided,Cyrus invaded (Former)Babylon and annexed Nineveh in 525 BC.
Government
Nineveh was an absolute monarchy.
