Proposed Services

Second Avenue Subway

The Second Avenue Subway is a subway line that will establish the new NYCS-bull-trans-T and NYCS-bull-trans-U trains, as well as extend the current NYCS-bull-trans-P beyond 57th Street. The new line will also replace the Houston Street Shuttle (NYCS-bull-trans-S orange) and close the Second Avenue Station, however a station in the Lower East Side will open in replacement. The Second Avenue Subway will span from 125th Street to 14th Street, with the NYCS-bull-trans-P operating with it until it reaches 72nd Street. While the Second Avenue Subway only serves Manhattan, the NYCS-bull-trans-T and NYCS-bull-trans-U will operate out to Brooklyn via the Houston Street Line and will eventually serve Staten Island after the completion of the Smith Tunnel Expansion.

IND Crosstown Express

NYCS-bull-trans-Gd

The IND Crosstown Express (<G>) is a proposed rush-hour express train that will operate between Norwood – 205th Street (IND Concourse Line) and Coney Island and skip stops that the regular G train makes.
