The National Socialist German Workers' Party of New Swabia (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei von Neuschwabenland, NSDAPNS), or Nazi Party of New Swabia was the governing party of the country between its independence from Britain in 1939 until the end of the South Atlantic War in 1982.

History[]

After World War I, the German colony of New Swabia was placed under a British mandate by the League of Nations. Opposition to the British rule was widespread among New Swabians, but it was largely repressed by the occupying troops, who were determined to maintain order and prevent the colony from becoming a threat again.

Following Adolf Hitler's appointment to the position of Chancellor in Germany in 1933, many New Swabians began to take an interest in his political beliefs, as they saw him as the liberator of Germany from the harsh conditions of the Treaty of Versailles. As Hitler had been so successful in restoring power to Germany, a group of New Swabians founded the NSDAPNS to attempt to recreate Hitler's success and win independence for New Swabia.

In 1936, a group of striking workers in Neumayer was brutally put down by the British authorities for insubordination; and the Nazi Party capitalized on the increased anti-British sentiment to gather a much larger voter base.
