The National Football League is a United States professional sports league for the sport of American football. The rules differentiate somewhat from Canadian football and Confederate football, both of which have their own leagues. As of 2013, there are no NFL teams outside of the United States.

Champions

Every year, the league contests the NFL Championship, ever since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. This Championship is now known as the Super Bowl, with Super Bowl I being hosted in 1967 in Los Angeles.
