War on Terror - 2004Edit

  • United States: We have called this meeting of NATO and non-NATO members to discuss a global strategy to combat widespread terrorism. This includes the production, distribution, and use of nuclear and/or biological weapons, including those utilizing illegal, weaponized strains of the zombie infection.
  • Proposed Ideas:
    • Operation Active Endeavour: A maritime operation in the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding area, designed to prevent the movement of terrorists or weapons of mass destruction. It will also have collateral benefits in enhanced security of shipping in general.
    • Trans-Saharan Counterterrorism Initiative: Interagency plan combining efforts by both civil and military agencies, to combat terrorism in Trans-Saharan Africa and the former nation of West Africa. The goal of TSCTI is to counter terrorist influences in the region and assist governments to better control their territory and to prevent huge tracts of largely deserted African territory from becoming a safe haven for terrorist groups.
  • Oceania (Non-NATO): We propose the creation of UAV's for long-range surveillence, to allow for authorities to be alerted and dispatched to the site without the perpetrators knowing.
  • AFR: We propose to end the spread of the zombie virus as a bio-weapon that almost destroyed the world years ago, that NATO launch military operations to prevent the destruction of humanity:
    • Operation: Undead Rising- NATO removes corrupt regimes from nations that support and distribute the use of zombies as weapons.
      • United States: This operation will not go into effect, but its foundations may be used to specifically target certain parts of the globe.
    • Operation: Retribution- NATO carpet bombs areas with a known zombie infection discovered via drone.
      • United States: We do not believe that this operation is the best course of action, and will vote against it. We believe that better precision is required.
      • Russian Federation: Conducting missile strikes can cause more civilian casualties, therefore we vote against it.
      • Appalachian Federal Republic: After discussing more with AHI, we withdrawal the idea.
  • Russian Federation (Non-NATO): President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will commit our Mediterranean Fleet for the Operation: Active Endeavour. Iran, a want to be nuclear state who is secretly researching nuclear weapons right on our front doorstep. However, we plan to do anything as of yet until they have actually done an action threatening to our state. Furthermore, we would like to add onto this conference and propose the creation of an international special forces unit formed of nations all across the world (Similar to Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six) to fight terrorism and further improve on diplomatic relations with all of our nations.
  • Oceania (Non-NATO): We already have maybe hundreds of Disease Scientists, Virologists and Medical Scientists are cureplex working towards a stronger cure at cureplex, any additional support would be great. cureplex will begin construction of a secondary building on the property sometime in 2005.
  • Germany: We agree that we must use the utmost advanced technology (UAVs, special forces, etc) to our advantage. We will also donate funds to expand the Cureplex.
  • Oceania (Non-NATO): We thank Germany and anyone else that wishes to support. More funding will be channeled into building UAV's and expanding cureplex/research.
  • United States: If there are no objections, we will place a vote for Operation Active Endeavor and the TSCTI. Furthermore an international task force will be created and UAVs and other surveillance technologies will be utilized.
  • Russian Federation: We support this. (What is the TSCTI?).
    • The Trans-Saharan Counterterrorism Initiative
  • Oceania: We believe that this notion is not strong enough and must patrol off of western africa and the middle east.
  • Appalachian Federal Republic: We agree. We will be deploying destroyers to the west coast of Africa to guard and watch.
  • Appalachian Federal Republic: We also propose each nation list what they may give to the operations so we don't have too many redundancies.
  • United States: We agree with the Appalachian Federal Republic that we should clearly write each nations responsibilities (please write in the voting section).
  • United Republics: We are currently reseraching these UAVs and drones (and as far as i know are the only ones who have done extended research). We are willing to share some of this technology for these operations. However, this sort of events is the reason we truly need a true active international organization or consistant discussions.
  • Celtiberian Community Nations: We are willing to assist in some opperations. We are currently investigating the European attacks specifically Madrid.
  • Union of Afrikaans: We have amassed a very large armed forces to take part in the thrust against the remaining warlords and terrorists left in Africa. We need all nations participating to send as many men and material as they can for this operation which is to begin soon.
