NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was founded in 1945, shortly after World War II ended. It comprised of much of North America and the Caribbean alongside Columbia and the British Isles.
After the stalemate of World War II, a cold war began to settle in. Germany left Britain under the treaty of Copenhagen and agreed to return all Jews that were deported. This cold war among 4 factions left Britain and the USA in a precarious position, since Chile, Argentina and Venezuela had already declared themselves in either Japan's, Germany's or Russia's sphere of influence. Thus NATO was founded by the British Commonwealth and the United States (Mexico and all of Latin American NATO would later on be swayed into the organization by crook or by hook.)
- "The Parties of NATO agreed that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all. Consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defense will assist the Party or Parties being attacked, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area"
The military of NATO is one of the best in the world. With the latest computer developments in Silicon Valley and a massive flood of refugee scientists from Axis and Communist countries, they are one of the major players in the world. Their M1 Tank and F-35 fighter are prime examples of this.
