|French Republican Wars|
During the second French Republican War, after the Winter battle of Aussig 1784, French republican armies invaded Bohemia, which was part of Hungary at this time. In the peace of Basel, Bohemia became a French satellite, which was called the Moravian Republic. After the third French Republican War, the lands of the Slovaks were added in the peace of Frankfurt.
After the successful German Uprising 1818, France lost the contact to the Moravian Republic, which called itself "Republic of the Bohemians, Moravians and Slovaks" since then (or shorter, Greater Bohemia).
