The Moderate Party (Moderata Partis) is currently the second largest party in the Roman Senate. The party was founded in 2327. Its political views are more liberal than those of the opposing Tyrannical Party. Although supporting the Emperor and the imperial reign, Moderates tend to sympathize with more democratic values, such as a large senate, questors and tribunes elected by the people, and extended rights to provincial governments.
The largest Moderate newspaper is Vox Romanum (Roman Voice).
