The Tuscan Armed Forces (It: Forze Armate Toscane) are the armed forces of the Tuscan Republic.
The Branches are :
- Tuscan Army (Esercito Toscano) with 30,000 military
- Tuscan Navy (Marina Militare Toscana) with 15,000 military
- Tuscan Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Toscana) with 10,000 military
History
When Doomsday occurred the base of Camp Durby was hit by a ballistic missile, with the death of almost the personnel in service. They was also present in Tuscany the Folgore Parachute Brigade, the 20th Infantry Division Friuli, several stations of the Carabinieri (Gendarmerie) and other minor unity of the Italian Army, the military have collaborated with the civil authorities for keep the order and protect the civilian from any attack.
When the Tuscan Provisional Republic was formed all military unit present in Tuscany have sworn allegiance at the Republic, with a decree the Tuscan Provisional Armed Forces was formed, the Armed Forces at the start was formed by only 15,000 men, dislocated in Army, Navy and Air Force.
In 1986 several unit and brigade of the ex-Italian Armed Forces arrive in Tuscany, most of this from the neighboring regions, followed by many civilian, this it brought at a increase of 10,000 men. In total 25,000 men serve in the Tuscan Armed Forces in the 1987.
In 1988 the Sicily have attack the Tuscan Provisional Republic, the Armed Forces was taken caught off guard when the Sicilians have attack the Republic and divide the state in two, the Tuscan Armed Forces have created a defensive cordon on the demarcation line created by the Sicilians, after this attack the Tuscan Republic was declared in Prato as a sovereign and independent nation. The armed forces was now called Tuscan Armed Forces, from the 1988 the war between the Tuscany and the Sicily was in stalemate.
The armed forces have assisted and helped the Italian refugees who fled in North Tuscany, in this years the armed forces has an increase of 55,000 volunteers.
During these years the armed forces was instructed and trained by the Alpine Militia, it also have modernized their equipment with Beretta AR70, Beretta 92, MG42/59 and many other military equipment. The Armed Forces have also some firearms factories located in Prato, Massa-carrara, Firenze, Pisa, Grosseto and three naval factories in Viareggio, Piombino and in Portoferraio.
When the Second Sicily War started the Tuscan Army was well equipment, huge and well trained, the 2 June of the 2010 the Republic of Genoa, San Marino and the Tuscan Republic founded the Italian Peninsula Alliance, later the Alpine Confederation and the Most Serene Republic of Venice joined at the IPA.
After the Second Sicily War the armed forces retake the control on southern Tuscany. Now the army is involved in the Operation "Rebuild" (It. Operazione "Rinascita"), is a operation of rebuild and clear the damage caused during the Second Sicily War in South Tuscany, it also have a peacekeeper force in the ex-Sicilian territory, who for now is under civilian and military control of Tuscany.
Now the Tuscan Armed Forces are one of the more best equipment, well trained and huge armed forces in the Italian Peninsula.

Special activity and special forces
The armed forces have also the role of set up military courts in case of war, for condemn the military who have committed criminal acts. They have also the role of military police or military jurisdiction when a province is declare under military control.
The most best equipment, training and famous brigade of the army is the Folgore Parachute Brigade, a Airbone brigade with role of paratroopers and light infantry. The Folgore was created at the start of the WW2, the Folgore have participated with honor at the Battle of El-Alamein, where was defeat by the British Army. The Folgore have hold the line of the front and have permit at the Wehrmacht and at the others division and unit of the italian royal army the retreat in Libya.
The army also is responsible of the security of the President and of the Vice-President, the regiment of the Corazzieri is the guard of honor of the President and of the Vice-President. The regiment has ten official and 50 troops, before Doomsday the Corazzieri was the guard of honor of the President of Italy and before this they was the guard of honor of the King of Italy.
The regiment has several rules for those that try to enter in the Corazzieri :
- Must be higher than 1.90
