Michael Dale Huckabee (born August 24, 1955) is the 46th and incumbent President of the United States, assuming office in January 2009 after defeating President Howard Dean in the 2008 election. Prior to the Presidency, he served as the 44th Governor of Arkansas, making him the second President in the past twenty years to have hailed from Arkansas, after Bill Clinton - who, incidentally, hails from the same town, Hope, that Huckabee does.
