The Migration Period, or from the Roman perspective known as the Barbarian invasions, was a period of migrations throughout Europe, mainly by the Germanic tribes such as the such as the Goths, Vandals, Angles, Saxons, and Jutes; other invasions by other groups such as the Huns came later on as well. It mainly took place between 410 CE and 560 CE.
