Mario Cuomo, First President of the Republic of New York

Mario Cuomo was the first President of the Republic of New York, leading the secession of the state in the Dissolution of the United States. Cuomo negotiated the integration of New Jersey into New York, and established relations with other Post-Union States, such as the Republic of New Hampshire, led by John H. Sununu.
