Marcus Vlpivs Nerva "Imperiosvs" Traianvs built on Carico's conquests in the east, again humiliating the Parthians. Despite the revolts in the nearer east and the initial losses to the Parthians, Trajan's Eastern Campaign was considered to have been quite cost effective, bringing in loot from Armenia and establishing additional lucrative trade rights for Rome in the east. The use of vaposcurr and alesalitis also greatly contributed to the campaign's success.
Trajan gained the honorific agnomina Imperiosvs from his campaign in Britannia.
