Manuel Camacho Solís (born March 30, 1946) is a retired Mexican politician formerly of the Party of the Revolution, who served as the 19th Prime Minister of Mexico from January 1995 when he defeated party leader Luis Donaldo Colosio until November 1997, when he resigned following a Cabinet revolt. Camacho is more fondly remembered for his period of time as Minister of Foreign Affairs under the de la Madrid and Colosio governments, where he spent eight years heading the Mexican diplomatic corps.
