Emperor of Western Roman Empire is the head of state of Western Roman Empire. Although it used to be a position of autocratic authority, the position lost its autocratic authority after the reign of the Carolingian Dynasty. Also Emperor needs to have his or her own jobs and pay their own taxes. Current Emperor is Michael I, who is a physics professor at Imperial College at Vienna.
