Language is a form of communication that can be conveyed by using actions, symbols and sounds. Language is found in animals and humans, as well as lunans. In humans, language is displayed in actions, (sign language) symbols (writing systems) and sounds (using the mouth.) This is also found in lunans, except for sign language.
Type of languages
There are 3000-6000 known languages on Earth. The top five languages by native speakers are Mandarin, Spanish, English, Hindi-Urdu and Arabic. Other major languages include: Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, French, and Greek. Some other known languages are Slovak, Hungarian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic, Korean, Thai, Italian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Croatian, Mongolian, Standard Tibetan, etc.
Several hundred languages have existed since the dawn of lunans, but all have been abolished except for one international one, Talnuwathiki. Other languages are still used by some countries but are not official.
