Overview[]

In 1130, a man named Yngve raised a small army and attempted to seize the throne of Gulmund I. His army consisted of mostly pro-Norwegians who didn't like an independent Vinland. On September 22, 1130, Yngve and his army seized the Governing House and killed Gulmund, ending Thorfinn's Dynasty. Knowing that he couldn't rejoin with Norway or else he would have had a revolution on his hands, Yngve tried to be as good of a king to the people as possible. He wanted his dynasty to hold for a long time, and didn't want to be killed by pro-independents.
