The Kingdom of the Teutonic Knights was a buffer state between the Republic of the Two Nations and the Orthodox Empire. During the last century the Kingdom has fought off attempted invasions by the Russians as they push to gain a port along the Baltic Sea.
The Kingdom has often come to the support of the Republic against the Islamic neighbors to the south.
