Originally a territory conquered from Srivijava by the Kediran empire based on Java Island. The home kingdom was conquered by Srivijava in 1974(1221) while the royal family escaped to this last province. As a conquered region it still has yet to form further geographical divisions like provinces though it does have a Capital Territory
