Juan Manuel I (born Juan Manuel José Domingo Ortiz de Rosas; 30 March 1793 – 14 March 1877), known popularly as Juan Manuel de Rosas before 1851, was Governor of Buenos Aires Province from the 1830s to the 1850s and, from 1851 until his death, self-proclaimed King of Argentina.
