Juan Luis Sanfuentes Andonaegui (December 27, 1858 - July 16, 1930) was President of Chile between 1915 and 1920.


He was son of writer and politician Salvador Sanfuentes Torres (former Minister of Justice, Deputy, and Intendent, died in 1860) and Matilde Andonaegui.

He realized his studies of Humanities in the National Institute; he studied laws in the University of Chile, receiving the attorney's title on March 15, 1879.

He married on November 1, 1885 with Ana Echazarreta Perez Cotapos, and they have five children.
