Jon Huntsman, Jr. (born March 26, 1960) is the 45th and current President of the United States of America, the first Mormon to hold the office. Born in Redwood City, California, Huntsman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and a member of the Republican Party. He began his political career as an aide to Lowell Weicker, and after that, chairman of Steve Forbes' presidential campaign. After Forbes' loss, Huntsman accepted an executive position at his father's company, the Huntsman Corporation, which he held until his election to the governorship of Utah in 2004.
