John Nance Garner IV, (November 22, 1868 – November 7, 1967), served as speaker of the Confederate States House of Representatives (1931-1933) and Vice President of the Confedearte States (1933–1935) before becoming the 14th President of the Confederate States upon the death of President Huey Long on September 10, 1935).
