John Osmond Espinoza (born February 5, 1958) is an American politician, environmentalist, author and lecturer who is noted for his intellectual demeanor, eloquent oratory, and promotion of liberal causes in the Democratic Party. He currently serves as the junior United States Senator from New Mexico and received the Democratic Party's nomination for president in 2008, being defeated by the Libertarian Party's Bryce Irwin.

Espinoza was born into a strict humanist family, which included Eileen Espinoza, Benedikto Dorno and Marja Dorno. He co-chaired the Swedish football team IFK Göteborg along with Máté Kis from August 2001 to June 2002 and was a speaker at the 92nd, 94th and 95th World Congress of Esperanto.
