John Breaux
43rd President of the United States (2001-2005) and former Senator from Louisiana. Fairly or unfairly painted as "weak on terrorism" after the 9/11 attack, Breaux's popularity fell dramatically in 2002 and was blamed for Republicans winning both the House and US Senate in those midterm elections.
He lost his re-election bid in 2004 to George W. Bush.
