Joachim II of Naples (born Joachim Joseph Napoléon Murat; Italian: Gioacchino Giuseppe Napoleone Murat; June 21, 1834 - October 23, 1901) was the fourth King of Naples of the House of Murat. He was the son of Lucius and the father of Joachim III. During his reign, which lasted from the death of his father in 1878 until his own death in 1901, Naples developed into a major Italian port and a commercial center, and became the wealthiest economy in exoimperial Europe. He was the first king of the House of Murat to have been born in Italy.
