Jenico Preston was a member of the irish peerage born in 1502 to William Preston, 2nd Viscount Gormanston and Anne Burnell. When he inherited the title in 1532 he became the seventh generation of english rulers and being a diplomat, already then he partially held Ireland together. An in the end even Henry IX had to recognize this and Jenico gained the title High Duke of Ireland. He however was a thorn to Conn O'Neill as he was the only thing that kept the O'Briens and Fitzgeralds to join him against the brokwen up England. When he however died in 1563 the title of Dublin went to his son Christopher Preston, eventually his work disappeared and Frith-Béarla was created.
