Jefferson Davis decides that he must surrender to the Union, this war has gone on for 3 years now. His cabinet rejects this idea, has he gone mad? Jefferson Davis doesn't pay attention as he writes up a letter to president Abraham Lincoln to meet him in a neutral environment so they can discuss on how to end this Civil war.

When Lincoln reads this, he is surprised and happily accepts. But his advisors warn him not to go, they're suspicious about this request they think it's a trap. But Lincoln ignores their concerns and accepts Davis's request. Jefferson Davis announces to his cabinet that he is leaving to meet with Lincoln in Canada. This angered his cabinet, they decided that Jefferson Davis has to go.

So what do they do?
