The Tokugawa Shogunate (徳川幕府), also known as Japan (日本) was a nation in East Asia.

Having been reunited in 1590, Toyotomi Hideyoshi tried his luck in invasion Korea in 1592 to expand his power. However, the invasion was unsuccessful, and after facing heavy defeat in 1599, Korea had managed to gain Kyushu.

In 1600, the Tokugawa clan took hold and established the Tokugawa Shogunate.
