The Federal Republic of Japan (日本連邦共和国; Nippon Renpō Kyowakoku) is a nation in East Asia. It is a Unitary Parliamentary Democracy .
Originally the Empire of Japan, Japan maintained itself well. Soon the Japanese Democratic Party was founded in 1936 by Ichirō Hatoyama. In the same year, Ichirō Hatoyama became Prime Minister of Japan and begun to democratise the nation. In 1942 Japan gave Manchukuo and Taiwan to China, and gave Korea independence. In Summer of 1942, Japan was renamed into the Japanese Federation (日本連盟) for a while. Then in 1943 Spring, a military coup happened and overthrow the democratic government. Shortly afterwards Japan fell into civil war between the Imperials and Democratic Japanese. Then the Japanese Civil War ended in Winter of 1945 with the Democratic Japanese victory; and the Japanese Republic was established. The Emperor was forced into retirement, and a debate begun if Akihito is allowed to take role of Emperor or not, and is still ongoing, though the argument is leading towards to no more Emperor.
Then in 1951 Autumn, China had declared war against Japan for no reason, and soon Japan managed to defeat China in Summer of 1952. Afterwards, Japan gave Korea, Thailand, Indochina, and Tibet independence and formed the East Asian Union with them. Soon Peng Peiyun (female, Democratic) is appointed President and Soong Tse-ven appointed Prime Minister of the new China under Japan's watch. In 1953, Japan gave China independence but kept Shanghai and Hainan Island. Soon though, the Parliament in Beijing was overthrown by mysterious people. Soon though, Deng Yingchao was elected Prime Minister and Huang Ming was elected President of China. Suspicious of the event, President Shigeru Yoshida had strengthened security in Japan.
Then, in Spring of 1953 Shigeharu Nakano, member of the Nihon Kyōsan-tō, became governor of the Prefecture of Hokkaido but stepped down after three months later and was replaced by Shin Kanemaru, a 'democratic' (actually Imperialistic-Fascist in secret). Over time, some of the Prefectures turned fascist-imperialist, and by the end of 1956, all the Prefectures, including the new President, all now are Imperial-Fascist and all are from the 'Japanese Liberal Peace Party' (Tōhōkai).
In 1957, President Tokugawa Masako begun to kill/send any communists to the Italian Labour Camps, while converting the rest of the people with ideologies not related to fascism-imperialism be brainwashed and re-educated.
Soon, by Summer of 1958, President Tokugawa Masako managed to secretly overthrow the government of Korea via sending spies and in Autumn 1958 'Kim Doo-kwan' (aka Makoto Tokugawa) was installed as President of Korea.
In Winter of 1962, the USA offered to sell American Siberia to Japan, in which Japan accepted.
Later, Japan invaded Indochina in 1960 and war lasted until Summer of 1963, in which Indochina was conquered. Japan then invaded Thailand in 1966 and war ended in 1971 with Japan annexing Thailand.
In 1978 Hikaru Nishida wrote a manga called Imperial Subterranean Animism (地霊殿帝国 Chireiden Teikoku); has Koishi Komeiji, Watatsuki no Toyohime, Rin Kaenbyou, and Mononobe no Futo as main characters and they go out to defeat and take control of a land called Gensokyo which is under Communist rule by Premier Marisa Kirisame; in the end of the first volume half of Gensokyo is under Imperial Chireiden's rule.
In 1985, Kyokutō-koku was established by President Tokugawa Yoshitomo.
In 1987, Japan turned into a democracy after elections, and was renamed into Federal Republic of Japan.
