The Hon. James Albert Pierson (8 September 1746 - 10 March 1805) was the second President-General of the United Provinces of America.
Pierson was the first leader of the Whig Party of America, and became President-General in June 1788, defeating the first leader of the Tory Party of America, Sir Daniel Worthington.
Pierson died of a stroke, only seven years after completing his term.
