In this reality that greatly diverges from our own, Israel is slightly more technologically equipped and advanced than our own reality's Israel. This is kinda good because a mysterious virus of extraterrestrial origins has caused a zombie-like outbreak upon the world of this reality.

Prior to the outbreak

Prior to the near-global outbreak of the infection, Israel was slightly more technologically equipped and advanced to the point that a new building was created for the public health safety of all of Israel called the Israel Sanitary Surveillance Institute for the good of all public health safety of Israel itself. Before the near-global outbreak, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention established a some sort of international relationship with the Israel Sanitary Surveillance Institute to the point that in case that the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention failed to stop a pandemic, then the Israel Sanitary Surveillance Institute takes off in finding a cure for the pandemic before it's too late. By the time prior of the near-global outbreak, there were approximately twelve to fifteen million Israelis living in Israel at the time.

During the outbreak

When the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had discovered an organoboron extraterrestrial pathogen that's capable of reanimating the recently deceased, they thought at first that they could stop it, but they were wrong. The infection begin to spread from the town of Lead Hill, Arkansas to across the nation, and parts of the globe to the point that the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention began to send all data and information about the mysterious disease from outer space as well as the samples themselves, in the hopes that they would find a cure for the pandemic before it was too late.

Sadly, however, after a few weeks into the near-global outbreak, most of the scientists began to quit because even though they were slightly more technologically equipped and advanced than other counterparts in the globe, they themselves couldn't find the solution to the pandemic either, forcing the government of Israel to a nation-wide military lockdown so that no one could get in nor out of Israel unless the government said so.

Approximately twelve to fifteen million Israelis were now inside a nation-wide military lockdown. Unable to get in or out unless the government of Israel said so. Now, the nation of Israel is waiting off the near-global outbreak of the infection to be over.
