The Islians were all immigrants from the other Provinces. It was a difficult way to live and the conforts of life came mostly from the solice the people took in the Roman Religion. Gods like Aqiulon, who were the North Winds, and Neptune were the centers of worship. Only during the height of spring was there acceptable weather to hold festivals.
