A Short History of Islia[]

Islia was an uninhabited island in the area north of the Atlantic Ocean. It was by far the farthest Province of the Empire. At the beginning of its annexation it was considered a death sentence for the military legions which were stationed there. However, as these people began to create families and adapt to the very different terrain, with the help of the people of areas like Scandinavia, Islia began to resemble a Roman Province. The Islians were all immigrants from the other Provinces. It was a difficult way to live and the conforts of life came mostly from the solice the people took in the Roman Religion. Gods like Aqiulon, who were the North Winds, and Neptune were the centers of worship. Only during the height of spring was there acceptable weather to hold festivals. The Governor General of Islia was a governor and a General and all of whom were Generals of the Legions of Islia.
