The Islamic German Republic consists of the Northern and Eastern German-speaking areas of Europe, from Flanders and the Netherlands in the West, to Eastern Prussia in the East. The capital is Berlin. It is bordered by France, the Christian German Empire, Denmark (which is also a Muslim-dominated country) and Russia.
The Islamic German Republic was founded after the Napoleonic wars in the early 19th century, when France was beaten through an alliance by the Ottoman Empire and Great Britain. Today, the Islamic German Republic's closest allies are the Islamic states of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, the Ottoman Empire, and Great Britain. It is at peace with the Christian states of France, the Christian German Empire and Russia, although the relations are strained.
Head of state is president Ali (originally Christian) Wulff, and head of government is chancellor Angela Merkel. Both the president and the chancellor belongs to the Islamic Democratic Union.
