The Irish-American war began on May 10th, 1994, when America declared war on the Republic of Ireland in defense of the United Kingdom, accusing the Irish of assisting terrorists (The HoA and Provisional Scotland)
On May 22nd, the Republic of Ireland declared war on the United States of America after they had placed economic sanctions on the island and violated their territorial waters. The Republic of Ireland began firing shells on the American blockade ships, while America performed bombing raids on towns near the coast. British troops also assist in the bombing raids. However, Irish mortar attacks take a toll on the fairly isolated ships in the West.
