Henry II of Scotland (5 September 1905 - 14 June 1959) was a Scottish nobleman and the fourth Spalding King of Scotland, reigning for seventeen years between his father's death in 1942 until his own sudden death of a heart attack in 1959. Known as the "Fat Scot," Henry II's reign saw a steady economic decline in Scotland, as well as an increase in a socioeconomic gap associated with an archaic ancient nobility, disconnect between the Protestant majority and the Catholic monarchy, and the gross failure of the Yorkshire Wars. Henry II was allegedly murdered by servants, although proof of this theory has never been definitively presented. He was succeeded by his son, Robert V.
