Hassan al-Wia is the current Caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate. He was the arch enemy of Sultan Khusro Khan II because he also desires power. After Khusro Khan II was born, Hassan hated his father favouring Khusro. He then decide to have a son with Tshering Gampo. He was widely criticized. Tshering Gampo refused to marry Hassan saying, " You do not love me. All you want is power." The desire resulted in the night of Hassan's joy, where gaurds tortured Khusro's supporters while Hassan enjoyed himself. The Persians became even more angry. They could not tolerate torture.
