Harry Truman, 33rd President of the United States

Harry Truman was the President of the United States of America from 1945 to 1953. Under Truman, the United States ended the Second World War, and lost the Third World War to the Soviet Bloc of the Third World War. Truman unsuccessfully tried to defend Japan and the Philippines from Soviet and Chinese attack, and later found the United States itself invaded in the Soviet Invasion of Alaska, including the nuclear bombing of Anchorage.

Truman represented the United States at the Sao Paulo Peace Accords, albeit reluctantly. At the previous Montpelier Conference, Truman advocated continuing the war with the Soviet Union. However, he listened to the majority and surrendered at the conference to avoid the "full brunt of the Soviet Union on American shores."

Truman is considered to be the first President of the Vicious Cycle of American politics, a line which ended with Mike Huckabee, the President of the Confederate States of America in the Fourth World War.
