Great Britain

Commonly, people use the terms "Great Britain" and "United Kingdom" as if they were completely interchangable. However, the former refers to the island of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales) and the latter to the union of Great Britain and either Ireland, North Ireland or in ATLs, other nations.
