Gran Colombia (Spanish for "Great Colombia") is a term used to describe the short-lived nation which include the modern day nations of Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and Venezuela. In other timelines, the nation was able to expand to include other Spanish colonies in the Americas. It is important to note that the the term Gran Colombia is a modern day term, which was never the official name of the nation (which officially called itself the Republic of Colombia).
